Troy Dance Factory, conveniently located in the heart of downtown Troy, offers one-hour lessons in various styles of tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, yoga, Zumba and barre/pilates. E-mail us at info@troydancefactory.com.
The studio boasts a 1,200 sf wooden dance floor, a waiting room, a retail space (where you can get some cool TDF schwag), a separate changing room, a dedicated bathroom, two walls of mirrors, one wall of double dance barres, climate control, a dedicated entrance, and a great location close to public transportation, a parking garage, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, nightlife, AND did we mention.... it's right on the Hudson!
Tuition costs are as follows:
1 hr/week: $450/year
2 hr/week: $850/year
3 hr/week: $1,250/year
4 hr/week: $1,550/year
*Some specialty classes may vary in price. Punch cards are available for all Fitness classes.
*Please note that payments are made in 3 installments (September, January, and April). You may pay the entire annual tuition in September and receive a 10% discount. Payments are due during the first class of the month (September, January, and April), and are non-refundable with some exceptions. Late payments (not made at the first class of the month) will incur a $15 late fee.
Performance classes (all genres of dance, unless otherwise noted) begin in September and end in June, concluding with an annual showcase. Most costumes for the annual showcase will be rented through Troy Dance Factory, which saves you and your family from the sometimes daunting costs associated with purchasing performance costumes. Rental costs are $20/costume, and are non-refundable. Participants will be responsible for paying a $30 showcase deposit per costume, which will be refunded after the showcase provided all costumes are returned AND undamaged. There is no recital fee, however tickets will be sold as well as the showcase program.
WE OFFER COLLEGE STUDENT DISCOUNTS! Tuition discounts are also available through the "TDF Referral Program", which is our way of saying "Thanks!" for spreading the word about what we do. Tell a friend (or as many friends as you'd like!) and if they end up taking class with us you get a tuition discount! Saving money rocks!
